# YeboNadi

> YeboNadi is a secure, personal-blackbox voice-recording app that seals every capture with AES-256 encryption, a SHA-256 fingerprint, an exact timestamp, and a GPS location, so what actually happened cannot be quietly rewritten by the other side of the story. Sealed recordings cannot be played back or exported inside the app. Retrieval is released only by a legal order or a signed release, submitted along with the user's encryption/decryption key, and delivered via secure cloud storage for a retrieval fee.

## Canonical rules (2026-02 pivot)

- Two manual recording modes:
  - **Interruptible**, records until you stop the session; halts if another app takes audio focus or the device requires it.
  - **Non-interruptible**, records continuously until you manually stop it or the phone dies.
- Every recording is encrypted (AES-256) and hash-sealed (SHA-256) at moment of capture, with timestamp and GPS embedded.
- Sealed originals cannot be edited and cannot be played back inside the app, not by users, not by YeboNadi, not by anyone.
- Retrieval requires a legal order or a signed release, submitted along with the user's encryption/decryption key. On approval, YeboNadi decrypts the record and delivers it via secure cloud storage. A retrieval fee applies.
- The encryption/decryption key (or the passphrase used to derive it) is irrecoverable by YeboNadi. Users are urged to share the key with one or many very trusted persons before they need it.
- Every retrieval event (request, release) is written to an append-only audit log.
- Cloud storage overwrites older recordings unless items are marked "Keep."
- Every user signs the YeboNadi Undertaking before their first recording, a four-clause pledge against blackmail, harassment, coercion, and unlawful surveillance.
